Wow.. seriously on the verge of tears during the whole show last night. I'm so mad at both of them for so many reasons, but when she said that that might be their last family picture together it killed me.

I hate this show so much, but MH is obsessed with it. It is on at our house 24/7.
I caught parts of it last night, even though I was trying to ignore it because I hate them. I did get a bit sad when one of the little girls told Jon at her bday party, "I wish you weren't gone so much, Daddy." Wow.
Me too. Then I was pissed that he told her something like Daddy has to work

Not to be dumb, but having a reality show ruined Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, and it is ruining this family, too. They need to get their priorities in order.
I'm probably in the minority, but I really feel for this family and am really rooting for them. I love Kate, but don't blame Jon for feeling the way he does about staying home and whatnot but you do not just check out like that. He did squat for their 5th birthday party. When they were sitting next to each other at the end, I just wanted him to do/say SOMETHING. Kate was basically like "I'm here" and he was like "I'm here for the kids." Put some effing effort in Jon. Ugh.
The whole thing makes me so sad. They keep saying, "we're here for our kids.... blah blah blah." But seriously, if they were really looking out for their kids' best interests, they would stop filming and work on their marriage and bringing their family back together. I dont think it's the stress of multiples that is wearing on their marriage, it's the constant camera crews in their house.
Yet, I still watch. Cause it's a train wreck. Still breaks my heart though.
It's the reality tv show curse I tell ya.

I hope for the kids sake they figure it out and can work through this but both Jon and Kate are really going to have to do some major soul searching to fix their problems.
I felt so bad for the kids when I watched it last night, you could tell they know somethings up especially since it seems mom and dad arent ever in the house at the same time.
And the speaking engagements. And the book tours. And the fact that they are on magazine covers and talk shows and getting special treatment.
I don't know if it's more sad that it is happening at all, or that they can't even see WHY it is happening.
I don't watch the show any more, since watching is giving them $$$ and exposure, but these parents are irresponsible in every way. It's too bad their kids have to suffer because of them.
I stopped watching almost all reality shows. It feels a bit too much like rubbernecking to me.
I do have OD...but Comcast can suck it. Our box asks if we want to copy to our VCR. Does anyone even have a VCR anymore? They bought out some crap cable company in Orlando and still haven't upgraded the boxes...so getting to OD is almost impossible.
But... she's always so naggy and evil. I don't think I could live with her. I do think the kids are cute. It's really sad. I especially feel for the older daughters, I wonder if kids (and parents) are talking about the drama at school. At my elementary,when people's parents were getting divorces, everyone knew about it. I can only imagine.
Oh I totally hear ya. Sometimes I cringe at how mean she is to Jon, but atleast she is real. If she weren't such a control freak I doubt anything would have got done in the first years of the sextuplets. She definitely has her crazy moments, but I still feel for her. Call me crazy.

YES, she did a great job staying organized and raising those babies. Being a control freak was very useful. BUT I'm sure there is a way to do that without being AWFUL to your spouse. I have never seen anyone more patronizing and condecending to the person who is supposed to be her PARTNER in this situation.
I know, I know. I just hate that he is the one that "cheated," but everyone blames her. Yes, she might have been a terror sometimes, but that is never an excuse to cheat/leave/etc. unless you are definitely divorcing. Just my 2 cents.

I'm also wondering how much they get paid per show. I remember reading somewhere something like 75k an episode, but I don't know how accurate that was.

I just watched this episode though I have only seen a few in the past. Even his kids know the word paparazi-you would think he would try to be a little more discreet unless he just didn't care anymore.
I just watched this and am so annoyed with her. For one, she went on TV and said all of this negative stuff about her husband. Even if they end up divorcing, isn't rule number one don't talk crap about your ex where your kids can see it? She claims that it's all about her kids but her actions don't mirror that. Also, the whole paparrazi thing pissed me off. When the kids were getting out of the car she said, "move quickly, the paparrazi are out there." Colin asked, "what's paparrazi?" and then in her interview she went on to say how sad it is that her child knows what paparrazi are. Hello, you told him!
As much as I despise her, I hope they work it out. For their kids and for the fact that those two morons deserve each other.
