Sorry I'm behind...
I can send you my Jimmy Buffett playlist. Oh wait...you got to hear a bunch of his songs on your cruise this weekend. ![]()
And Jen is right on the Bob Marley song - she put some of the lyrics in the first post, but for the life of me, I can't think of any song titles off the top of my head. I can send you my Bob Marley playlist too.
IZ is good too - he was a Hawaiian singer...I won't even try to butcher his last name, but you can google him. I have a playlist for him too.
Seriously, if you're going for an island theme, I'm your woman. That's the only music I listen to anymore.
If you want "fiesta" I can give you some info on some mariachi or more hispanic-type music, but I'd be surprised if you've heard much of it before...it's just super popular out here.
Re: Paula, more songs
Oh, and don't forget "Tequila"...not sure who does it, but I can find out. There's not may words (seriously, the only thing they say is "tequila") but you need it for a fiesta.
If you go for an island feel too, I can ask my friend who lived in HI for more recommendations.

I think I'm going more with Margarita/Islandy songs but trying to find some that won't make us TOTALLY fall asleep, you know? LOL Drinking has that effect on me half the time anyway!
I've got a handful of JB songs, but would love any recommendations other than the ones I've got (obviously Margaritaville, Volcano, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Changes in Attitude, Changes in Attitude, Brown-Eyed Girl and the Alan Jackson It's Five O'Clock Somewhere with him.)
I'm trying to get songs that people will recognize and have fun to (like sing along to because you just can't help yourself), so I think I'll pass on Mexican/Southwest stuff. LOL
Thanks - you guys totally rock. We hit the party store last night and they had a "Margarita Party" CD. I already had like 8/10 they had on it! LOL
TEQUILA!! I still think you should convince Mike to Fed Ex you here.
