I think my kid has a death wish. I checked on her before I got into the shower and she was laying on her side. I left her because she was so peaceful and cute. I showered, got dressed and went in to go feed her. She was spread eagle face down in the sheet. Face down. No knees under her, no arms under her. Nothing. She scares her mama. 
So how was your night? Anything going on today?

Today is my first day back at work since last Wednesday. I've been off/working from home. We had a complete office remodel, and I got a brand new desk (and location!). Today I hacve so much unpacking to do.
E's birthday party was Saturday btw, so so much fun!
I just fear that would be something else to get in her way. She sleeps fine and appears to be very comfortable....on her face.
I want to see pics from the party!

So do I! I didn't even bring my camera! I am going to e-mail some family members who had cameras today and try to get pics. I'll post them later: )
What?! You didn't have your camera? That sucks. I guess you would be pretty busy with everything else though.

The thought did cross my mind. I don't know if I can afford something like that though. Maybe I should start checking out craigslist.
BRU has killer deals. We bought ours when the monitors were 15% off & we had a 15% off one item coupon. There's some that are pretty expensive but thankfully we wanted the cheaper VM. The screen is huge (big plus for me). I'm a freak & will wake up in the middle of the night & watch his chest for movement.

Is Mary rolling over on her own when she's awake, too? If so, you don't have to worry about her only sleeping on her back anymore.
Also, the video monitor really makes me feel better. I know they're kinda pricey but if you can find one on craigslist I recommend it. I have a 15% off coupon for BRU that expires 6/4 if you're interested - I can put it in the mail to you. I used to keep the camera in Sarah's crib so I could watch her breathing! It made me feel so much better!
Oh, yeah. She's a little rolly polly. She is rarely on her back when she's awake anymore. The second I put her down she rolls over (when she's awake)

This reaffirms my need for a video monitor. I have a regular one that I got from the Ellen show, but I have a video one on my registry that I haven't gotten yet and was debating on whether or not to get. I think I have another run to make to BRU.

Had an OK night. Sarah and I met C at Islands for dinner (kids eat free on Tuesdays!) then we went to Lowes to pick up all of the tile stuff for our bathroom. According to our contractor, it is now OUR responsibility to go get all this stuff...even though the insurance is covering everything. I got tired of arguing with him so we just went and got it all ourselves. I also ordered the tile yesterday as well...which they originally said they would do, too. I'm so over this whole project...
Sarah took an hour to get to sleep last night...she screamed so much that she threw up...so fun...She then woke up at 12:30am and screamed for another 45 minutes. To say we're tired today is a bit of an understatement. Hopefully she'll be better tonight.

Found out yesterday I'm going to have to start coming to work earlier which I'm not too happy about but oh well. Last night did a massive shopping trip to Costco as we have nothing at home in terms of food. We got to watch the season finale of Lost and go to bed early.
H just called me to tell me hes going home sick from work so hopefully he'll be ok. Luckily got some quick meal stuff from Costco last night so we can take it easy tonight.

I am doing laundry this morning as I'm finally feeling up to it. I've spent about a week and a half just lying on the couch. I had no idea what people meant when they said they were so tired when they were first pregnant. It's overwhelming! I am also starting to have some nausea which sucks.
I remember like 4 days after my BFP Val & Jason calling me at 9:30 and I had fellen asleep on the couch. Me being a night owl, Jay was like "You are ASLEEP?!?!" It was funny... I guess that's just what happens when you get PG! If the MS gets too bad ask your DR for Zofran! saved my LIFE!
Kristy- Video monitors- suck... but are still worth it!! When I watched E for the weekend, Val gave me theirs and it made life so much easier being able to SEE what was going on!! Looke for a used one to help.
Today's plans- Painting.... making art for the baby's room, and some more cleaning for the shower this weekend.

Brandy, that's the exact same video monitor my dad bought us. I couldn't get along without it. It really gives me peace of mind, especially when I am home alone and get in the shower. I prop the monitor just outside the shower and take a peak every couple of minutes.
