Excellent 1st anniversary trip!
So my DH surprised me with a wonderful 3 day trip for our one year anniversary over the weekend! He just told me to pack casual clothes, dressy clothes and a bathing suit!! He took me to the http://chesapeakebay.hyatt.com/ in Maryland. It was only about 3 hours from us (York) and the resort was beautiful!! If anyone is looking to take a long weekend trip, this place is great!! It is a golf resort and spa as well and has 2 outdoor pools and an indoor pool/ hot tub. They also had a kids club there, where they would take the kids to do arts and crafts, swimming, etc. and a babysitting type service if you have kids. There is not really anything close to the resort except we did drive to Ocean City boardwalk about an hour drive and prime outlets with Juicy Couture, coach, tommy hillfiger, etc about 30 minutes away. It was a great little get away!
