So late on this one but I just watched it last night.
Good for him. I understand divorce is not the best option but she seriously mentally abused him. Made fun of his hair, weight, the way he pronounced words, he couldn't tell a story w/out her butting in or making fun. How sad it's come to this.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the end. They kept saying how everything they do/done is for the kids. It was like who could have the last word.
Re: Jon & Kate
I can see that too. He seems like he has checked out and doesn't give a F anymore. I wonder if she has always been on him like that.
In an old episode they had pre baby footage. They looked happy. She even talked in this weird baby voice.
I am just enthralled with this whole thing... which is utterly pathetic! I think that the bottom line is that they are both sort of horrible. He has made comments about how he always thought he'd "marry a younger, hot chick" and he's arrogant. She is bat sh!t crazy and seems to just be getting worse...
I feel bad for their kids. I really do. But as my husband said last night, "They made their bed (and enjoyed more free stuff than ANY of us will ever see!) and now they are paying the price."
yes!
So I admit, I've never watched the show. ?But I am a People magazine addict and now I'm becoming addicted to the Access Hollywood reports as well (EVERY NIGHT PEOPLE??? COME ON!!!).
?
In any case, from what I've seen, I don't blame him if he walks out. ?If I ever yelled at DH in the middle of a store the way she did ("BECAUSE!"), I wouldn't blame DH for walking out on me either. ?Complete disrespect. ?Same thing goes for him as well. ?They're both to blame for this whole spiral into the tabloids. ?They chose to have their lives taped - good and bad. ?Now they have to deal with whatever consequences come out of it.
?
I heard Kate mention in an interview that this was her "job." ?That being on reality TV is a "job." ?That makes me sad. ?Isn't the point of reality TV to show reality? ?Or, at least that's what Mary Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray thought when they created The Real World in '92. ?But I digress.?
?
Hope the kids come out of this with some semblance of normalcy. ?Unfortunately, it's probably too late for that.?
