Back from SF
My H and I got back from our 5 day SF trip yesterday. It was SO much fun, but OMG, his family can be so annoying!! His mom made some rude comment about sex to us (at a family dinner) and excluded me from a family pic that included my SIL's boyfriend, his sister just expected us to drop everything for her whenever she wanted (we went there for her college graduation on Fri, but the rest of the trip was suppossed to be a late 1st anniversary trip), and his dad insulted anyone who goes to a CSU instead of a UC (I went to a CSU).
Apparently, when we had lunch with my H's uncle (who I LOVE), I got SO drunk and ranted about my MIL for awhile. CRAZY!
Re: Back from SF
Yeah my relationship with my IL's is not the best. They get under my skin and my MIL is only just beginning to understand the meaning of boundaries. We also spent WAY too much time with my H's family, considering this was suppossed to be our anniv. trip.
But the trip was great! I went to SF State, so I had lunch and went shopping with 2 of my best friends from college one day. That was so fun! My H and I had never been to SF together, despite us having both lived there at different point in our life, so it was really fun to finally experience SF together. Driving together also made the time on the 5 seem really short!
LOL! My thoughts exactly...and this is my life!
B you always say just what I'm thinking but in a succinct way I could never think of.
Sorry your IL's are PITA. I love SF. Haven't been there in years.
