Anyone NOT wear their E-ring?

I think I'm going to stop wearing it. I've never been in love with it, and to me it looks more like a right hand ring (it's a small 3 stone ring).

I have a diamond eternity band that I LOVE and I am thinking of just wearing that... but would it look weird w/o the e-ring?

I don't know what I'd do with my e-ring... I'd probably just put it away but maybe wear it on my right hand?

Re: Anyone NOT wear their E-ring?

  • I can't imagine not wearing mine, and when I picked out my wedding band, I made sure that they worked with each other. That said, my wedding band COULD be worn alone.

I work with a lot of women who only wear a band, no engagement ring. Not sure why, but it's a trend I've noticed more and more often.

many people only wear one, so I think you'll be fine.
  • I still wear mine, but many women wear only their wedding band. I think you should wear (or not wear) whatever you want!
  • My mom wears only her engagement ring, not a band.  I don't think I can ever remember her wearing a band.  She does have a pretty kick ass e ring, though hahaha.  My band is so thin, it would probably look goofy if I wore it alone.

If you like it on your right hand, go ahead and wear it over there.  Then it's not like it's just sitting in a drawer somewhere.

  • Your fingers, your rings, you can do what you wish.

  • I just wonder if DH will mind. I've never told him I don't really like the ring, lol.

Maybe he won't notice.... I guess we'll see!

  • I wouldn't tell him you don't love it but I see nothing wrong with the wedding band alone at all.  I agree with anna 100%!

  • I wear just my band, and so did my sister for a few years. If you don't really like the e-ring just leave it in the jewelery box or wear on your right hand. Or pull a Carrie Bradshaw and wear it on a necklace.
  • I never wear my E-ring anymore... I dont think I've worn it in about 3 years... I love it but I ;m not a big jewelert person..I waer my wedding ring which is just a plain white gold band all the time.. I never take it off except to clean it
  • I wear both.  I like my wedding band without the e-ring, but I like it so much better with it.  I think DH would be upset if I only wore the wedding band, because he picked the e-ring out himself.
