Fiesta Dress

What do you think?  I can already hear my MIL "Why are you wearing a dress?"

I just don't want people to feel uncomfortable because I'm overdressed:

Re: Fiesta Dress

  • It doesn't look to dressy.  I think maybe if it was shorter it be more casual looking, but I like it and if you like who cares!

  • I LOVE it! ?So cute!

Did you decide not to get the other one??

  • I did get the other one, Mandy, but I think people will DEFINITELY think it's dressy:

http://tinyurl.com/nw7pp4 (which by the way, the pics on their site suck... or that model looks like crap because I looked better in it than she does!)

I thought about taking the "stones" off the front and hoping that would make it less dressy.  I just couldn't pass it up for how well it fit (I usually feel like my boobs are too big for dresses like that, or feel like they're going to fall out because it's TOO open in the front, but this dress really holds those puppies in!)

  • I love love it! I don't think people will think you are overdressed at all! You will look cute and casual!
  • I don't think you'll look overdressed either.  It can be dressy depending upon the shoes and accessories you wear but some cute black flip flops will be fine.

  • You're right - you looked WAY better in it than the model does! ?If nothing else, wear it out on a date night with your hubby!

That's what he said... "We'll go out to a nice dinner some night. Keep it."

Okay, honey... because we go out for nice dinners allllll the time. LOL

  • I think it would be perfect with some black flat sandals or flip flops.  I love wearing dresses in the summer time, especially if we are hosting a party.  Have fun at the party.

I agree.  I have a ton of dresses and love wearing them in the summer to bbq's or out somewhere.  I would wear it with a pair of black flip flops.  Keep the accessories to a minimum.  It will look cute.

  • I think I'm going to look for some black/white bracelets (I'd prefer bangles, but I can never get them on my wrists!) and I have a pair of black flats I can wear, but will also check for a new pair of black flip flops (I got paint on mine a few weeks ago!)

    Thanks, guys!
