Ooo! Ooo! Another question! Digital Camera!
My current camera sucks the juice out of batteries so quickly it's not worth taking on the trip.
I'm not Ansel Adams so I don't need anything fancy. A point and shoot is more my speed. I looked at some things online but I have no idea what is good. $150 is my ceiling which I think would get us something decent?
Can anyone recommend thier digital camera?

I have a Canon PowerShot SD1100 and LOVE IT!

It takes amazingly clear photos, with no need for technical skill...that's good for me
) Plus it also takes video.
If you can get to a Ritz Camera Store, I got mine on sale for $129 +tax but I think they have them at Best Buy and Target.
I have a Kodak EasyShare and I am not happy with it. I really want a new camera. The photos that it takes are ok but the software that goes with it is not very user friendly (IMO). So once I take photos I dread having to upload them.
They may have fixed this problem though, MIL and my Mom both have this camera as well (different years than mine) and they are both happy with it.
I would say the Sony Cyber shot. You can find them in 3x or 4x zoom.. silver, red, or pink and sometimes as low as $99.

That's just for the silver one. And Walmart has them,too. The $99 price is usually in the store. Also a great size to just keep in your purse. Easy to use,too.
