door county: places to stay???
Anyone been to door county?
We are trying to plan a local trip from June 14-20. Wheres a good place to stay there?
Or do you have any other local places you can suggest to drive to from Chicago?

OMG I never realized you lived in Chicago!!!!! I live in Green Bay, that is just crazy!
We have been to Door County for day trips but never stayed overnight. IMO the best towns in are Sister Bay and Ephriam, so I would start looking there. I am heading there next weekend, so if I hear of anything I'll let you know. If you plan on going to the tip of Door County, I would definately suggest taking the ferry to Washington Island.
Another great city to visit is Wisconsin Dells. I love this place!!!!!!!!!! There are so many things to do, and lots of great places to stay. River boat tours, the Wisconsin Ducks, jet boats, waterparks, mini golf, I could go on.
What types of activities do you guys like to do?

Oh how funny! I didnt realize you were that close!
We have already been to Wisconsin Dells. We are looking to do something else now. We are in between Door County and Pennsylvania. We are hinting more toward Penn. but any opinions are always welcome! We are definitely going those dates though.
