Knotties/nesties you still wonder about?
I was just thinking of BethanyBez the other day b/c I saw someone who reminded me of her riding a bike (could have been her, who knows?). That got me to thinking of other brides who were planning around the same time I was, or mommies who were pg during the same time, etc.
So, who do you remember/think about from time to time? I wonder if we could get some lurkers to peek in & say hi???

Ugh, I just typed this whole long post and then deleted it by accident....
Anyway, I will summarize instead -
Lots of girls were on the knot when I first started - I can only remember a few names (pumpkin-something-or-other, Mrs.Carlos2b), but Amy might remember more because they got married around the time she did.
Other knotties I wonder about - rookiebride, safarigirl/Mrs.Safari, and a few of the ladies in my GTG pics who I can't remember their names at the moment (check out my planning bio, help me out!)
And of course there were a ton of ladies getting married with me in October '07, and I wonder about them too! - Moho116 (I email her occasionally but I miss her on the boards!), bridgette555, and of course there are more that i can't think of right now....
JDAngel was a fun one, and has a great bio and pics. When I first came on, the famous NSGraham, of the budget bio was just getting married, I see brooklynbridecesh occasionally on the mommy boards, I see JillAlly on the mommy boards too. OctoberBrideNYC is a favorite of mine, and we keep in touch, and XBrooklyngrl is always on the parenting board.
I totally remember Pumpkin, and wonder how she is. Bethany popped in here, great to have her come by!
I actually love this link, it's a list of "Old" knottie names that was initially put together as an NYC photographer bio. Lots of brides I remember! (Knottie name "nycphotographer"

I feel bad for the girls getting married now - the NYC knot board is SO dead. There is like, one new post a day, and all they ever are are posts looking for rec's for a vendor. Boo.
You're right about the NYC board these days, it's sad. It makes me glad though to have had all the wonderful ladies we had back when we were getting married (this probably makes me sound so old and it hasn't even been two years, lol!) I also miss seeing Bethany around here, though I'm friends with her on FB and stalk her wedding blog constantly. Ooh, I remember Mrs. Safari, she was so fun! Oh, and do you remember FutureMrs.B or something to that extent, Lisa? She was always a bit quiet, but such a sweetheart!
Bubblegum Explosion
There are lots of Knotties/Nesties that I miss seeing on the boards. I am slightly embarrassed to admit that there are some Nesties that I remember from the national boards that I wonder about.
As for the NYC Knot board being dead, I wonder why that is. Is it that less people are getting married or what?
