Mon - grilled fish w/ wild rice and a veggie (not sure which one yet)
the rest of the week is still TBA
I'm so bad at weekly meal plans but here's what I am guessing for this week:
Monday - Bubba Burgers with homemade mashed potatoes
For the rest of the week, I don't know in what order, but we'll probably do the following:
- chicken soft tacos (made with ground chicken and taco seasoning mix)
- chop-chop style chicken with rice and corn
And the other two days I'll probably not have time or energy to cook, so we have a lot of backups (frozen pizzas, mac and cheese, etc.).
Jackie, happy early anniversary!!!
Also wanted to add a good dessert idea for the week. I had it last night and it was a total foodgasm. I had bought strawberries at the market over the weekend and they are huge and incredibly ripe and juicy. I had some Nutella on hand, so I ended up just eating the strawberries with Nutella for dessert. I just took a knife and spread the Nutella on the actual strawberries (so that they looked kind of like chocolate-covered strawberries). SOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS! I had tried the strawberry/Nutella combination before in crepes, which is really good, but even without the crepe it was fantastic. Super simple and defreakinglicious.
Sun - Burgers
Mon - Chicken cutlets, roaster potatoes, corn
Tues - Chicken tacos
Wed - Sausage and peppers
Thurs - Order chinese food
Fri- Chili
