How was everyone's weekend?
We spent Friday being lazy in the morning, and running errands in the afternoon. Saturday we had Sharra's baby shower (nice to meet you Kat!). It was a good time and she received some nice gifts! Yesterday we went out to lunch, then Eric and I spent the afternoon being lazy on the couch while Jason worked a little.
btw for "The Hills" watchers, was the Hills season finale last night (and re-airing tonight?) I think I heard that somewhere.
Re: Good Morning
Good morning. Saturday I stayed in almost the whole day. I cleaned and relaxed. It was a pretty good day. Sunday I ran a bunch of errands. I got Mary this booster seat for my brothers house and for the IL's house. She used it yesterday and it worked great. Nothing planned for today. I really need to scrapbook but I am out of tape runner.
I ordered some last night but won't be here until the 8th.
Robyn- I am thisclose to giving in to all the hype and watching Twilight. But Christina (co-worker) says I need to read the book.
I personally I really liked the movie but for different reasons than liking the book. Movies are never better than the book unfortunately. There is a lot more detail in the books. The movie was low budget and had some cheesy parts but RP is just gorgeous so I just watch the movie and drool over him.
I personally tell people to watch the movie first and then read the book because if you do it the other way around then your disappointed when you watch the movie. But, then again there are the people who hate the movie so I don't know.
Other peoples thoughts?
Morning! Friday was crazy...we finally got the carpet installed! Yay!! No more walking around on those rough wood floors! The only problem is that it has that horrible chemical-y smell. Saturday morning we were on the 8am flight to the Bay Area for our friends' daughter's 2nd birthday party. It was crazy with so many kids but Sarah had an absolute BLAST! So cute to watch her interact with so many kids of different ages! The party was at a park and they just put in a playground set with this awesome super-bouncy/soft rubberized ground. Sarah had a great time climbing up the playset and falling down the slide...I swear that kid has NO FEAR. She literally stepped off the little bridge onto the slide and rolled down it...she let out a little whine when she landed and then just cracked up. I about wet my pants...
We flew home yesterday after a big breakfast at IHOP with our friends. On the way home we stopped off at Lowe's to get tile for our bathroom. The tile we orginally purchased is backordered for 2 weeks! There's no way I'm going to be out of a bathroom for 6 weeks! The tile installer will be here tomorrow! Yay!! There is an end in site to this huge mess!
Just working today...maybe a Sam's trip tonight...we'll see.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Robyn - I totally agree with you on the movie. It was low budget looking, but RP is yummy
BTW - did anyone else think Kristen Stewart was drunk last night?
Melinda - glad you had fun at Disneyland! I miss it.
The weekend was too short. Saturday we ran some errands and checked out more houses. Yesterday church, stopped by my parent's house and then just hung out at home and bbq'd. It was sooo hard to get up today!
Morning!
Our wkend was really good and relaxing. Spent Friday lounging and spending time with the pup and hubs. Sat did some massive cleaning while H walked the pup and then I took dunkin to my cousin's house so my little flowergirls could meet him and he could play with their dog. The dogs ran around so much that Dunkin was so beat when I took him home. Sun we were suppose to go to the ILs for dinner but they decided not to have it so we did laundry, watched Vicky Christina Barcelona, and vegged.
Today I have to drive to LA for work (blah) and we found out our layoffs will happen next week =/
Val: THe Hills seaon finale was last night. They will probably re-air it tonight (I don't have TV, so I am not totally sure), but you can also watch all of the episodes online. Hope that helps! I will be watching it online tonight. I LOVE the hills. lol
Hello, its evening now. Nice to meet you also, Val! I've seen your pics but never you. Your little E is just adorable!!! Your bump is pretty cute too
We had a crazy weekend, I've been working on my Uncle's slideshow all weekend, for the funeral. Its stressing me out, but its almos complete.
