Can you help me with some slumber party ideas?
I'm hosting a summer camp in a few weeks for 4th and 5th graders. The theme is "Giggly Girlfriends, A Week Long Slumber Party!" They aren't really spending the night but I want it to have that feel. Some things I've thought of so far are painting t-shirts, decorating flip-flops, makeovers, making jewelry, karaoke/dance party...
Can you give me some more ideas of things that would be fun for that age? Thanks!
Re: Can you help me with some slumber party ideas?
make/decorate a picture frame and have a "photo shoot", then they get that photo to put in their frame (costs like 9 cents per photo at Walmart or Target)
make smores
bake/cook something where each person has one ingredient/one job (measure the flour, stir the mix, icing)
mix drinks (i'm talking koolaid, putting food coloring in pepsi, etc.) Maybe have some fun cups (like the margarita-ish kind they sell at walmart right now!) and cut some lemons, garnishes, cherries, etc. Just to make it fun and cute. You can buy fun ice cube trays in shapes and then they have cute ice cubes. Or freeze grapes or blackberries in ice cubes (so cute.) Fun straws.
Make-your-own-tiaras (hobby lobby has everything)
Have them do that poem thing in pretty colors and hang them up somewhere (the WHO IS....WHO LOVES....WHO HATES....WHO FEARS.... poem where they fill in the blanks)
nail polish! Little flower stickers to put on, lots of crazy colors.
Pillow Fights!!! ?But those can get kind of violent... haha
I went to a slumber party as a kid, and we decorated pillow cases. ?Just with like puff paint and rhinestones and feathers... cheapy decoration stuff from Hobby Lobby. ??
Man, this sounds fun as an adult
We used to do fashion shows, maybe have the adults bring some dress up cloths, or hit a goodwill and get some great outfits. I would think they would love make up and high heels.
Photo shoot is good
decorate... anything... shirts, tank tops, hats, flip flops, cup cakes, pizza...
ghost stories
truth or dare
