Re: The Franklinville Inn - Anyone ever been?
Um yes.. a million times! It's so FREAKIN' good! It is, literally - no lie, the best food around, and I'm including Philly. Everything from the bread, house salad, appetizers, to the steak is always super fresh and tasty. My ILs are good friends with the owner, and you wouldn't believe how anal he is about getting the best of everything in his restaurant.
You will NOT be disappointed! And hey - I literally live right across the lake from it
It's one of those places that when DH and I go, we go all out - cocktails, appetizers, wine with dinner, entrees (always steak!), and dessert... around $100 for the two of us.
However, they have a bar/lounge menu that is affordable and filling. The desserts are pretty awesome, so save room for that!
