So As you guys read, I teach preschool. Here's a part of a conversation between one of my kids and my asst. teacher.

"Ms. Melissa! Mikey said we're going to have sex, and we're not!"

This coming from a 4 year old who was caught kissing this boy behind a couch when he came over to play a few months ago.

I know I shouldn't laugh but omg. thats hilarious. What happened to child innocence? I don't think I knew what the word "sex" was at 4 years old!

I was so glad they went to her and not me. I was slightly stunned. We went along the route of, "N you're not and we don't talk about that at school."

But everyday there are fights about which girl will marry which boy. 1 month until I lose most of my class to kindergarten.

Oh we had fake wedding ceremonies during recess in like first grade (complete with flowers/weeds we pulled from around the playground) ... that's harmless. The sex on the other hand, not so much

I had no guys interested in me (to my knowledge) until I was 16. The boobs grew way before that, so based on that alone there should have been some interest. Right? (Now I sound cheap...)

Well I remember that the boys in preschool were like in love with me because I always wore super frilly girly dresses ... maybe you should have worn frilly dresses. One of the guys Mom's still jokes about how in love with me he was back then
