Dear Knot,

I am less than a month away from my first anniversary. That means my wedding is over.  When a wedding is over, a person no longer needs to get emails about sales on wedding cameras or other wedding related items.  I just thought you might find this information helpful.

Re: Dear Knot,

  • Did they start sending those to you again too?  I just noticed in the last few weeks that I've been inundated by their stupid offers and advice on finding the right hairstyle for my pretty princess day.  Maybe they figure we're divorced by now and ready to start planning our next wedding.
  • they know you're pregnant and are already planning your unborn son's wedding.
  • But don't you need all that information to plan your vow renewal extravaganza?  You five year anniversary is just around the corner.  Don't you know you have to have to renew your vows every five years or your marrieage is DOOMed!  How will your guests take pictures if you don't provide cameras for them?

  • You're not alone. I've been getting some weird emails as well.
