Apparently the 09 gals are in a tizzy on 417 because WE are still in the dropdown box but they aren't.
**whine** "and why can't you move 07 to the nest already?"**whine**
geez ladies ... underwear too tight for ya?

Re: Ramping Up the 09 gals
As for the drop-down menu thing, I would be perfectly fine with the knot transferring the 07's over to the nest, which they should have done a long time ago. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea to feed the squirrels over in 580.
Can I mention again how happy I am that the wedding is over?
get over it girls!! i am all for having our board move to the nest. that's where i spend my time anyway.
and i LOVE that the wedding is over, joce. the only reminiscing i do is when i look at the pictures to make myself feel better on particularly fat days.
Speaking of our pregnant ladies... I have a suspicion that thunder's a new mommie.
XP: Who should spread the word?
So, my question is, who should spread the word of the engagement? Should I order some small cards from vista-print saying like "Soon to be mr and mrs" or whatever? I thought I left it up to my parents to spread the word!
Or, could it all just be an honest mistake from whomever addressed the invitations?

maybe i should look into the paper business.
Your weddings are a little under 2 years away. Why are you planning so early? Some of you have bought your dresses already, and that is just dumb. You could loose a lot of weight or gain, or you might find a better dress.
ChilllthefuckOUT.
October 2007 board
Since when does Janice sign her name "October 2007 board"? I was unaware that Janice was our official spokeswoman.
I am interested in their responses, however.

while i don't enjoy the fact that janice has taken it upon herself to become the unofficial spokeswoman, i do like the tone she took.
can someone please post a link?
Bottom line is, we have an amazing group of girls on this board. I havent found a bond like ours on any other board besides my local one. These girls are just P*ssy because their day is over and the expected to ride the honeymoon phase through their marraiges. They dont realize marraiges are work. So now they are bored with their spouses and their ordinary lives and are trying to stir up some drama. They'll give it a rest if you ignore the crap out of their posts
Uh, what?
Anyway, to momof2: First of all, not everyone over here was 'making fun' or even indirectly making fun of you all. The ones who wanted to stir up drama went to your board. Some of us, myself included, don't really get the early planning thing. I don't care if things came up, if you want to plan early then do it. You don't need to explain yourself here. Personally, if our date changed to a year later for whatever reason, I probably would have put off a lot of the planning. Thats just me. I wouldn't take anything here so personally.
P.S. I am a Dec '09 bride. I haven't planned anything but I've gone shopping and looked into venues and started getting ideas for my wedding. The people at my church tell me that I should look into booking my church and reception because they book up fast and you want to reserve your date. Some people have fun planning weddings and have been looking forward to this all their life. So when we get engaged we automatically start planning.
Umm... last time I checked that was part of PLANNING. Call me crazy on that one though.
As for the rest of your post.. All I can say is if your friend got her feelings hurt over coming to another board and finding a post, she may have issues. After all, we are talking about something a bunch of women online that she doesn't even know. I honestly could understand booking vendors early on, but some of the girls over there have already ordered favors, invitations, or gotten their engagement pictures done. That's honestly just stupid. Relax and freaking enjoy being engaged for a while.
WTF. Like she speaks for all of us?
Friggen Janice. Never ceases to entertain.
is this her attempt at an insult?
By the time June '09 rolls around, the board in question will be so over-saturated with planning, the drama will really be kicking in. We should probably visit them then.
And yes, site visits are part of planning.
