DFW mommies.. need ideas please!
DH and I are about to take a "staycation" in a couple of weeks. We are going to stay home all week with Charleigh and just hang out. What are some cool things to do around the metroplex that are baby friendly during the day? We live in Allen and there are a ton of fun parks that we plan on going to. But besides the park and maybe the zoo, we are out of ideas! Any movie theaters that do "mommy days" or something similar? Any other cool ideas you know of?? Thanks ladies

Re: DFW mommies.. need ideas please!
First of all, I love your DD's name and the spelling of it!
Zoo, Dallas World Aquarium, DMA, lunch on patios...
I'm not a mommy but
1) i love your daughter's name and the spelling, so cute
2) what about the arboretum, it;s great in the morning before it gets hot. great for picnic too
There is a roller skate rink in Plano that has stroller skate in the morning. you skate and push your DD in the stroller. How fun is that?! I have not tried it yet, but it is on my want-to list!
The other thing that I can think of is the UNT planetarium. We too our DD to a show about evening constellations. She enjoyed the moving stars and how the presentation would draw the pictures within the stars. She kept pointing at Leo the Lion.
Enjoy your staycation!
This morning I got an email from the Star Telegram about a free family movie festival and thought of your post:
