apartment complexes?

does anyone recommend an apartment complex? We're moving, and it's difficult to figure out what complexes are the best (cleanest, helpful staff, good parking, best on bug extermination).

I'm moving to Miami, so the whole area around it-- Kendall, South Miami, Little Havanna, whatever-- I just need an apartment complex.

 thanks!

Re: apartment complexes?

  • Two years ago, my DH lived at the Waterside Apartments in Kendall (on Kendall Drive near US1, in Pinecrest). The apartments are all updated on the inside and he never had trouble with parking.  HTH
  • What's your budget? How many rooms do you want?
  • Stay away from Ludlam Point apts on 67th ave and 44 st in South Miami unless you want a bunch of drunken UM students throwing beer bottles outside your bedroom window at 4 am.  I lived there for 2 years.  Not fun.  The cops were called almost every night and people would break in to the complex and steal from cars.  fun times!!

Miami Lakes has some great apartments around Main Street- google Fountain House Miami Lakes... that's one of the apartments!

  • we wanted (hoped for) 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, since EVERYONE we know plans to visit us (we're leaving Philly for the sunny south), and we hoped to spend up to 1100, but we're flexible. thanks!!
