Anyone still there? Just checking in with my fellow January brides as we approach the 6-month anniversary mark!

I haven't been here in months! I'm usually on the nest or my local knot board. I'm great...no complaints! How is everybody else doing?
Anybody doing a mini celebration for their 6 mos anniv?
We were in Hawaii last month for our belated honeymoon. It was FANTASTIC! I never thought I could love a place the way I love Hawaii.
I also just started working in an ICU at my hospital. It is quite different from the type of nursing I did on the med-surg floors but I know I'll get it eventually. I'll be working nights, which my husband and I are less than thrilled about, but that's all they had open. This job is a great career opportunity for me though, so it is worth the sacrifice (and that shift differential is pretty good, too!).
No plans for a 6 month celebration....looking forward to a great 1st year anniversary!

We don't have any big plans for our six month anniversary, but do plan on taking a ski trip for our one year. Then, next summer, we're going to get on the baby-making train!
I'm busy getting my classroom ready for next year. I'll be teaching at a middle school that's only four miles from our house. Sweet action on the gas costs!
