So we're on our way out the door to a friend's wedding, the first we've been to since our own. I feel super nervous and have butterflies in my stomach, I think it's more for the bride because I know how she is feeling right now, but is this super wierd? Anyone else been to another wedding since your big day? I'm sure we'll have fun, just feels odd

Hope all is well with everyone!

I went to a wedding just last weekend! I saw the bride a few weeks ago, and gave her an "emergency kit" I had some stuff from my own, plus I made up baskets for each of the bathrooms at our wedding, so I figured she should benefit from a little of our hard work! She hadn't even thought of it, so I was so glad I did it!!
Plus, I told her at her shower...to please call me if she needed help...and I ASSURED her, that I was so not just saying it to be nice. I told her...a lot of people say they want to help...but they want to help when it's convenient for them...not necessarily when you actually NEED help!!! So I told her that no matter what, I'd make time for her. She wound up only asking me to stick around at the ceremony and collect her unity candle, memory candle, and any leftover programs, but I was SO HAPPY to be able to do even that, knowing how many things do weigh on your mind.
DH on the other hand...spent the entire day saying..."our (fill in the blank) was better!" ;-)
