Re: Healthy, Happy News for Wednesday??
I was just thinking about a great summery (and healthy) breakfast a friend introduced me to. Maybe some of you even do this already!
Breakfast Smoothie - Combine any combo of milk, REAL fruit juice, frozen berries, fresh fruit, yougurt and ice in a blender. Blend until desired smoothness is acheived. Enjoy your tasty and healthy creation. Enjoy with high fiber breakfast cereal if you wish!
I made it out for a 3-mile run on Monday. Other than that, just farm chores this week. I hope to run tomorrow, but today I have a lunch meeting. I used to LOVE lunch meeting, but now they are almost a bummer because they mean I don't have the noon time to run... boo.
Hope you're all having a great Hump Day:)
Monday I went for a walk around the block a few times on my lunch break. Then after work a friend and I went walking on a trail around the college. Dont know how long it is, but we walked around it 3 times. We are going walking again tomorrow.
I have no fave healthy summer snacks....i admit i dont eat all that healthy. i just try not to eat junk, and at dinner try to eat less....i do love yogurt though.
Lost a couple pounds. I've been eating better. I try to walk a little bit every day.?
Skinny Cow Ice Cream Bars are a tasty sugar free, fat free snack. (80 cals for 1 of the Dippers).
also the quaker mini rice cakes come in sweet flavors (cinnamon streusel, chocolate, caramel and my new fave, chocolate mint) for 90 cals a pack.
