Strapless bras

Anyone have a good one?  I have two problems with them and can't find one that doesn't have one or both of these issues:

--they GIVE ME backfat where there normally isn't (because it's tighter than normal and does that weird shape across my back where the band is).

--they smoosh my boobs/ride too low so my boobs have a very unnatural shape.

HELP.

Re: Strapless bras

  • I found one by Le Mystere that is the wonder strapless bra.  It was a little pricey, but I love it.  I haven't had the issues you mention above.  I've given up on vs.  They just don't fit me right.

  • Good luck...Stacy and I have been talking about this a lot recently.  We have the same trouble and where you always pulling it back into place.  The girls hate strapless.

This.  I LOVED my Le Mystere bras.  It killed me to give them all away post-reduction.  Pricey, but very very very worth it.

Damn you Nest for screwing up my siggy!

  • here's the bra that kristi and val recommended.  I was expecting them to be way more expensive that that by the way they talked.

  • Yeah, I looked them up - one was like $72 and one was $60 on Bare Necessities.  Not that bad consider VS's is pricey (and I stopped bothering with VS's strapless a few years back as well.)
  • Ah, see I don't even know how much VS is anymore.  I refuse to shop there...they sized me at a 32B and I'm really a 36C-D but nothing ever fits.  I'm a big fan of Target bras now...$10!

Thankfully I had the foresight to keep my pre-reduction ones and I have been using them during the pg.  I am so glad I kept them, strapless and regular Le Mystere.  They are so comfortable.

  • I actually bought a strapless bra from Target a couple of years ago that I loved and stayed in place all day long. But I haven't been able to find the same one since and the hook in the back ripped out.

I might have to look into the Le Mystere one down the road!

  • I bought a couple Target ones and loved them... except I had to go up a band size and now they've completely stretched out (within like a month), so I'm back to my fall back VS ones. LOL

I kept ONE, just for memory's sake.  I should try it on now and see the difference.
