hello. hello. hello. (echo. echo. echo.)

slowest board ever today.

Where is everyone?!....

Re: hello. hello. hello. (echo. echo. echo.)

  • I'm sitting at the shop, shoe shopping, and praying my feet don't grow during my pregnancy like my mom's did, because I have an awful lot of shoes I love.
  • Deanna - so far my feet haven't grown. Hopefully it stays that way - I would think they would have by now? They definitely got swollen, but not longer. I wear mostly flip flops now, though.

That was one of my biggest fears b/c I LOVE shoes and I would be very disappointed if I couldn't wear them all.

And yea - what's with this board?

  • I'm here, I just don't have much to say. I've been looking for homes online to send our REA. We would like to be in a new home by the end of July.

  • Since it's dead I'll share my latest MIL gripe...

MIL text me Monday while I was at work and said "finally, June - the month of Jack!". OK - it was nice and I know she's excited. Well, I forgot to respond back b/c I was at work! last night he was talking to her and I heard him go "no, she didn't mention it. Oh, she didn't write you back?". UGH. she went and told him that I didn't respond to her text. seriously?! She's just trying to make me look bad! So of course, I get the "you dont like my mom, so you didn't respond". seriously?

on our way to work this morning, she sends it to me again (B/c H told her maybe I didnt get it). So I said to him "what should I respond, since you seem to have suggestions". lol. So I made sure I responded this time all fake - yea, we're really excited!!

the woman is out to get me. Why did she need to go whine to my husband that I didn't text her back? It's not like she asked me a question.

Wow. Settling by the end of July is quick! GL!

  • Toni - that's so annoying! She needs to realize that, especially with a baby coming, the world does not revolve around her.

OMG that would drive me up the wall!  Bless you for dealing with her bc I would def. tell my H that his mom is being redic by doing that.

  • I think I would be more annoyed by my H responding that way than by my MIL questioning why I didn't respond. But then again I doubt my wacky MIL will actually be excited when it's time for grandchildren.

She told the H she was too young to be a grandma. And not because we were talking kids but probably in following up to her "oh you're engaged, she's not pregnant is she?" line of questioning. Um, we were together 6 years and had a house together for 1 before a 10 month engagement-hardly a shot-gun wedding situation.

Sorry for the rant, but I feel your MIL pain.

I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz
  • That's crazy, Toni!  I would have flipped out.  The world does not revolve around her!  LOL
  • Toni - Welcome to the "My MIL is completely nuts" club.
  • This is a direct quote from my MIL the last time I was over,.

"Why aren't you pregnant yet?  I'm not throwing you a baby shower when you get pregnant just so you know."

What a whore!  (Sorry that's my word of choice today.)

Toni, you're better than me.  I wouldn't have even responded to the second one and I would have chewed DH big time.

DH's grandmother doesn't like me and I'm pretty sure she thinks I tricked her grandson into marrying me.  She's a wench, too.

  • Wow Nat - your MIL takes the cake!!

I'm just not looking forward to dealing with her once the baby is here. It's only going to get worse.
