30 Day Shred, Day 8!

Just checking in with everyone...I don't have any questions or polls that I can think of today, so I'm just keeping the motivation going instead...

How are we doing? Are we skinny yet!?!?Big Smile

I squeezed my big a$$ into one of those tight suits today - super control top panty hose and I still looked like a stuffed sausage (but I wore it anyway!).  Hopefully by the end of this I can wear it and breathe normally!

    I haven't exercised in a week.  I've been a bit crazy, but that's no excuse for not doing a 20 min workout.

  • I'll probably just stretch a bit tonight while i salivate over the dancers on SYTYCD. Embarrassed I've been having some hip problems (maybe tendinitis...?) so stretching and a warm bath should be good enough. Don't want to over exert it...yet...
  • I did level 1 and level 2 last night as a punishment for not doing it in two days.  That was tough.  But I am glad I stuck with it.

  • Day 4 was hard. I had a particularly hard day at work and it showed in my energy level during the workout but I made it throught. Today is day 5, still level one.
  • i totally slacked last night. but i like carrie's idea - doing level 1 & then level 2 as punishment for skipping a day. lol.

     tonight is either going to the gym for a buttkicker workout - or doing the 30DS and then run. 

    and no - i don't feel skinny yet. Crying ok, sorry - i just happened to notice my post-lunch pudge. ::sigh:: i will get there soon.  when is everyone switching to level 2? on day 10?

  • I am going to switch on day 11 - so I will do a full 10 days at each level. Last time I switched after one week and I regretted it a bit, because level 2 was soooo hard.  Instead of moving up, I am making sure I do all of the moves that have become "easy" for me at the "advanced" level.  So, really kicking my butt on the butt kicks, going down far into the lunges, etc.  I noticed that I was kind of taking it easy on my self the first few days (not that it was ever EASY...) so I'm stepping it up a notch.
