    Our Sonic opened yesterday...first one in our area.  People are going CRAZY over it...I have never been but I am intrigued by all the madness.  Free rootbeer floats sound good!

    Ya, I am mad sonic is not close. I have root beer and am actually going to have DH get me some vanilla ice cream today because I am craving a float from seeing that stupid commercial so much!

    I dont like root beer but some friends are coming up from MD to go (Hanover has the closest Sonic) so I said I would meet them. Hopefully the rain isnt to bad though, its not worth being in the rain for, lol.

    Their drinks are the only good things on the menu...the food is SO greasy and tasteless, I can't handle it! I don't get what the fuss is about either. I mean, the drive in thing is cute, and it's fun to watch the wait staff struggle on skates, but it's just not worth the bad food!
