Ok, I need help.  Here is a recent pic of me (and my unruly hair):

Thoughts?  Or should I do something different completely?  (and if different, give me a pic of an idea!)...

    I like it longer how you have it now.  what about adding some side swept bangs?

    My big problem with how it is now is that the back is at that awkward stage where I can't straighten it and I can't make it look "right" (at least, not right in my head! ?haha). ?I actually had her cut it the way you're suggesting last time and after about a week, I was unhappy with it. ?I didn't have a lot of side bangs, just a few, but I'm not sure that would fix my unhappiness.

    Why did you let your hair grow out from the last style?  Were you unhappy with it, too much maintenance, too much styling, too difficult to style?

    Mine is just a bit longer than yours is now and is just past that awkward stage in the back, so I know exactly what you are talking about.  The only way I got past it without getting frustrated and cutting it off was the fact that I want to grow mine out and would have to get past that awkward length to do so.

    I just hadn't had time to go get it cut and when I went to get it cut last time, I was in a rush (we were leaving for my uncle's funeral an hour after I got to the salon) so I just had her do a quick trim. ?And I hadn't been back since (that was March!!!). ?

    It all has to do with never having time to go. ?Isn't that sad?? ?I should have taken your advice and gone on my birthday but here it is a month later and I'm still fighting my hair!?

    So if you loved the old style and just never took the time to get it cut, why not give it another shot, but this time SCHEDULE an appointment 6-10 weeks out (so you're there today to get it cut, SCHEDULE it before you leave and then it's an appointment just like you would have a court date.  You GO.  Hell or high water. LOL)

    I like the shorter look on you...it frames your face well.  I think the longer look hides your face.

    Me too. ?I feel like no one can see my face with the longer hair (probably because it's always falling INTO my face...ha). ?

    Ok, old hair cut it is. ?I'll have to print that pic of me. ?I always worry about it not looking exactly like I want it to look!?

    I agree.  Mine is pretty long now and it was a little painful at times to get it there, but I love the low maintenance of long hair (for me it is very low maintenance) and I feel like I have so many more styling options.
