If anyone has a carrier pigeon hanging around, please send it my way so I can get in touch with DH who apparently goes off the grid when he leaves the house in the morning.
I have been trying to call him since 8:30am when I got my speeding ticket (Grrrr. Lead-foot Millers in the house), and also if I need to pick up a gift after work for HIS friend for a birthday BBQ I don't want to go to this weekend, and trying to nail down my errands so we're set for our trip.
Even the receptionist in the office didn't know where he was.
Cell phone (which is turned off apparently).
Work phone (2 messages).
Email.
So glad this isn't an actual emergency.
I haven't gone straight home after work every day this week because I've been running around now so I don't have to do it next week. (Also my mom had pretty major eye surgery so I was there last night.) So just returning a phone call would be the bees knees right now.
If I dare get the "I was busy" excuse from him I just may flip. Well I've been busy to. They don't pay me to sit here just to look good. But I do look good so everyone wins. *wink*
Next option after carrier pigeon is smoke signals. Although I don't think the building managers would appreciate a fire in the parking lot.
Re: Carrier pigeons? Anyone? (Vent)
Could be dead battery on the cell phone? I hate when that happens to me.
I think you should send over an owl like in Harry Potter.
At this point, I'd probably send a Howler instead
