Is there a 5th grade teacher on here? (funny for everyone)

from fmylife.com....I cannot imagine dealing with something like this - it has to be local from the area code

(717): I have a masturbator in my 5th grade class. the teacher told me ever since they caught him humping the desk in 2nd grade, they haven't been able to control him. he's even on medication but he will just do it in class

  • I'll probably regret piping in here, but personally, I don't find this funny in the least.  As a teacher, yes, I will readily admit that you encounter situations like that, but you certainly do NOT go post it on a website like FML.  The child clearly has some kind of issue at work here (as evidenced by the mention of medication), not to mention the teacher he's stuck with that can't seem to understand that and have some sympathy for him (and yes, I'm sure it's awkward for all involved - students, teacher, etc.).

Young children (preschool/kindergarten) do this all the time, and frankly, I'd be more concerned as to what was going on with this child to still be showing this behavior at 10 years old than labeling him and getting irritated that they can't "control him."

  • Who was this posted by?  It makes reference to "the teacher" so it an aide?  Not that you know, but it's odd, and it might not be a teacher that posted it at all.

And I agree with pp, that whoever did post it, probably shouldn't have.
