Six-months
Our wedding day was Dec 1, so today is the official 6-month mark! We haven't really discussed it much, so unless DH completely surprises me tonight, I doubt that we'll be celebrating with any type of fanfare. I'm wondering what my fellow December brides are doing. Is anyone planning something special for this month?

We ended up planning our summer vacation over the 6 month anniversary, I think H thought about it since he came up with the dates but it took me a little longer to realize it. Grant it we are just going camping, but I know we are planning a very nice lunch out and some sight seeing on Mackinac Island
Isn't the cake done on the 1 year anniversary?
I don't know...celebrating a monthly anniversary was something I did back in high school. We'll probably be like 'wow it's been 6 months' and that's it.
Yes technically it is but my MIL made ours and suggested that we eat it at 6 months since she's never had cake (made by her or someone else) that tasted good at 1 year, no matter how well it's been wrapped and frozen. I imagine I could ask her to fix us a small cake for our 1 year but the actual one saved from our wedding will probably be eaten at the end of the month while it's still good. Who doesn't need a good excuse to eat yummy cake?
We are actually going to take in a baseball game and dinner on our 6th month. I dont' get excited month by month that goes by but I can't help it every month when I notice its the 27th I think Oh we got married x months ago.
Emily - I just checked out your wedding pics, and they are gorgeous! Looks like a wonderful wedding! I love your red/silver/gold color palette - that cake looks beautiful!
