Weekend Plans!
Hi all, what are your plans for the weekend?
Today: I have our regular Friday playdate to take BabyP to. It was going to be a backward bbq with a cake for me (my bday is monday) but now it is an indoor affair. Tonight I have my bookclub. We are discussing A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. But I have a feeling that at least half of the group didn't read it (too long, whiny babies) and are going just to drink and have fun.
Saturday: Not sure, not allowed to know. DH is planning my bday festivities for this day and it is a surprise.
Sunday: Hopefully I'm relaxing.
All in all, it is quite a mystery weekend for me.

Today: After work - Costcos and Home Depot
Tomorrow: Grocery Shopping and I hope to go to the Italian Festival in SI Zoo and maybe get my hair cut.
Sunday: First Birthday Party in Queens. The people are having a DJ and everything. It will be fun though - good crowd.
I will also begin my count down for KINGS and TRUE BLOOD Next week - YAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYYAY!
Not much is planned right now. After work DH and i might go out to dinner with friends after they're done checking out the theatre they're using for their show in a few weeks. So i might kill time at a yarn store till dinner...darn...
Tomorrow; maybe go see Angels & Demons. I'm thisclose to finishing the book but i'm wondering if shouldn't finish it before seeing it. That way if i'm disappointed with the movie i can finish the book and like it better... Also, the Brooklyn Museum is doing it's First Free Saturday deal tomorrow...
Sunday: DH has rehearsal in the afternoon. So i don't know what i'm doing!

Finally! A Married Bio!!
Tonight a coworker and I are going to see Ruined. I am very excited. It is supposed to be great! Tomorrow DH and I are going to get up early and go to the chiropractor (we are such old fogies) and then our good friends are coming into town to hang by the pool. The one nice (and sometimes overwhelming) thing about living in the suburbs is that everyone wants to come visit in the summer. J Later that night we are going to SI to Adobe Blues to celebrate our other good friends? engagement. Sunday we are cleaning up the monstrosity that is our bedroom. Have a good one ladies!

Woo hoo it's friday!!
Ok, so our original weekend plans were to leave tonight right after work and drive up to Harriman State Park. BUT, now that the flood/downpour has arrived, we're going to pick up the rental car tonight. Plan out the hike and then leave early tomorrow morning. This is our first backpacking/overnight trip - and we're bringing the pup!!
Sat: leave early am for harriman state park, hike all day, camp overnight.
Sun: hike from morning until whenever we are done and ready to come home.

Not sure what I will be doing this weekend. If I can motivate myself I might drive out to Roosevelt Fields but it is sooo far!
Happy Birthday weekend Pokey! Surprises are so exciting. My b-day is at the end of the month, but I don't think they'll be any surprises (besides my gift), DH has no clue what to do. lol
Tonight: DH is going to dinner with his 'rents. I ditched them 'cause they are going to a German restaurant and I'm not really feel'n that tonight. So, I'll stay home and clean...yippee!
Tomorrow: Going to the gym with DH and then taking my niece and nephew to my work picnic in the afternoon.
Sunday: Some more cleaning (I'm sure) and hopefully som relaxing!

Tonight I am going to do NOTHING! Woohoo!
Tomorrow - going to Duet to finish up the layout for my wedding album....yes, I got married a year and a half ago, and no, I do not have my album yet. Then i have to go to picture day at one of the dance studios where I teach - pictures with my students!
Sunday - teaching, take yoga, chill and then go to see a friend perform at Hush. My nose is thisclose to being able to look normal with makeup - i can't wait because I am missing performing so much! And watching my bellydancer friends do it makes me miss it more!

As for me: I'm waiting to bust out of my cubicle at the first stroke of 6p.m. and go home! It's been one of those long, never-ending seeming weeks and this is the first Friday in a couple weeks, I don't have plans. So, while DH is working tonight, I have a date with our comfy sofa and blanket with Chinese take-out and a movie.
Saturday is already devoted to the domestic duties of laundry and cleaning. But, I'm hoping to treat myself to a french pedicure with a girlfriend in the afternoon, and enjoy some me-time.
Sunday--I've got church and since this is DH's only day off, our "date day" can hinge on how wiped out he feels, but hopefully, we'll see a movie and drinks.

I took off work today for my glucose test so I met a friend for coffee, now just waiting for dh to get home.
tomorrow-hmmm... nothing planned-maybe apartment hunting? Definitely cleaning. Our vacuum cleaner just got back from being repaired (did you know they still do that?)
sunday-seeing another apartment, yoga with a new friend, and hopefully lunch after.
