AW: applying for jobs
Hey ladies!
I applied for a daycare job today and got a call back within the hour. I have an interview set up for Monday morning at 10 am!
It's for the lead toddler teacher at a day care. 18months-3 years. I think I would be pretty much perfect for it! (fingers crossed)?
i'm kind of nervous, I haven't interviewed for a REAL job ?(last few jobs have all been temporary) in a long time. They want a one year commitment which I think is cool. It would give me time to get my stuff together for my teaching certification application. ?(I've taken the tests, but haven't gotten anything else together, and they need all my degrees from Canada to be certified by an American notary.... more immigration red tape!!!)
Anyway, the supervisor sounds really awesome on the phone, and even though I would be making less than what I would be making as a teacher, I would be at the top of their pay scale with my credentials. (I'm over qualified).?
