So F*&$*@! Pissed!!! (updated)

I had to do a few returns from the baby shower to Target and I got a store credit/merchandise return card (flimsy little thing) but it's as good as cash.

Apperently when I was in and out of my purse it fell out of the reciepts it was wraped in and I lost it. I figured this out today... don't know when I actually lost it.

I found the reciepts and called to report it missing..... someone used it.... TODAY... at the Target I was at.... like 30 minutes before I was there! UGH!!!

Like... if they had tried to use it tomorrow, I would have cancled the card. But it's too late. There goes $60! UGH!! I actually cried (freckin hormones!)

I am soooo mad at myself for dropping it... I would normally never to that! I'm also pissed that my guests who bought my baby gifts (doubles) ended up buying something like toilet paper to wipe some greedy a-hole's butt!

****** New information*****

After DH grilled me for like an hour last night about how I lost the card, he couldn't figure out how I still had the reciepts and not the card.... he is wondering if the employee @ customer service never gave it back by mistake (did like 3 transactions).

He worked for Target a while back and said that we should talk to their security. So this morning we went there and they took all our information and the card # and reciept copies and said that they will look into it. The manager said that they will usually send another card to our house with the previous balance on it.

I'm glad that I had the reciepts still and could possoble get the $$ back!! It was linked to our registry and everything so we made a good case.

    I agree. Or maybe karma will intervene and they will lose something important to them. I really think you should stop shopping at Target. You seem to have the worst luck there! So sorry.

  • Glad they are doing something about it. I was going to ask my brother if something could be done for you because he works in Target's management. I think their customer service is actually pretty good.
