Pray for my friend...

I heard some sad news today, but hopeful also.

A childhood friend of mine, that I still talk to and see on a regular basis had a beautiful baby girl 4 months ago.  She just recently started having convolsions and they took her to CHOP only to find a black spot on her brain.  They are saying it's a cyst so that's the good news.  So, I'm not sure what's next...operate I'd think.

I just feel so sad for her...she and I have been friends since we were 2 and we have remained friends for so long...to see her so in love, get married and get preggors and have this little girl was so amazing.  She loves being a mom and was so excited to have a baby.  This thing that just happens out of no where really makes you stop and think. I don't mean to put a damper on a damper of a day but keep my friend and her baby Gracie in your thoughts and prayers:)

  • I definitely will!
  • I definitely will be...
  • Your friend and her family will definetly be in my thoughts and prayers. I cant imagine how hard it would be to have your small helpless child go through an ordeal like this.  the good thing is CHOP has amazing doctors and if they are giving her an optimistic outlook that should be some reassurance that it will all work out.
  • Liz, that's horrible.  I will definitely keep them in my good thoughts.
  • Thanks ladies!  It's just so sad to see a couple so happy and excited to have this little baby and then in just a moment your world is thrown a curve ball...I know she will be ok.
  • I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's daughter.  My mom works in the radiology department at CHOP and she is in the best hands.  CHOP is an amazing hospital.

    Please keep us updated.
