Exhausted does not begin to describe how tired I am today. I'm beginning to loathe busy weekends. I'm booked until August

izzy: I agree with you on loathing busy weekend...we are only booked until mid July and it's exhausting thinking about it.
I had a good weekend...my sisters engagment party was Saturday night and Sunday we went and I tried on my wedding gown that finally came in and we ended up dress shopping for my sisters wedding and found her wedding gown and the bridesmaids dresses for hers too. We figured while she's still not carrying tons of baby weight now would be the best time. So it was exciting to get all that done and spend the afternoon with my sister and Mom. My fiancee cleaned up the whole backyard and deck and now it looks like a resort so we spent the night out there and had dinner which was really nice.
I don't know about everyone else but I'm hoping that this week doesn't drag like last week...I only have 8 more days left of school and I'm so ready for it to be done...the kids have checked out and they seem to be forgetting everything they were told for the last 10 months!!
I celebrated my very first wedding anniversary! The year old cake wasn't half bad. It wasn't the best cake I've ever had, but it wasn't the worst either.
We spent the night in AC and had dinner at the melting pot and gambled. It was super awesome!
On Sunday we went food shopping and bought a new lawnmower.
Good Morning! This weekend flew by again! We didn't do much (which was nice) and I am not looking forward to having every weekend booked up until July 17th! ugh...
Lilylow- did you and your DH sit in the private booth at the Melting Pot? That's what we did for our anniversary (DH made the reservations)..I love that place!
Morning - I'm still playing the waiting game! At work today - so I'm miserable! It's so uncomfortable sitting at my desk. I keep telling Jack he can come out, but he's not listening...
Our weekend was very low key - Friday we went to dinner with my brother and his FI. Sat we hung out around the house, then went to dinner with my parents. Sun we sat at my parent's pool all day and cooked out for dinner. the water was too cold for me, but I got some sun which was nice.
Lily - your anniversary sounds wonderful! Glad you had a good time.
We actually dont have plans for a long time - for obvious reasons! Our August is pretty busy, but until then our time will be spent adjusting to life with a newborn.
I didn't do a damn thing...and it was wonderful!

Happy Monday! My weekend was jam packed, which was fine, but I feel like I never got a break bc it was so busy.
Today is my least favorite day of the month. I have 3- 2 hr meetings in a row. I was dreading coming in today. Hopefully it goes by fast...

I think yesterday was the first time Ive been home for more then an hour in the past 5 days! Friday night I went out with my friend to ac, we went to kathy griffin show then continetal for dinner. sat i worked then ran around trying to get my errands done, then up north for a friends engagement party. yesterday was laundry and cleaning all day. Ugh and monday mornings are always the busiest, worst day of the week for me. is it friday yet?

We went to a wedding at the Flanders Hotel in Oceacn City.. it was a ton of fun! We stayed overnight, too, and the room was amazing!!!! The weather was crappy so we didn't stay too long Saturday morning. That night we went to see 'Night at the Museum 2' (so funny!) and went to Terra Nova for dinner - yum! Yesterday we spend the day doing stuff around the house - DH did yard work, built a flagstone patio. I cooked, cleaned, and did laundry.

Aside from work we had a busy weekend. We had a family wedding in our neck of the woods Sunday, and a ton of out of town guests arrived on Friday and they slammed the restaurant demanding their food. Actually, it was nice to see how much everyone enjoyed the place and wanted to support us. Friday night we got to hang out with some close family that we don't see too often and Saturday night was my grandmother's 75th birthday party.
Sunday night was a wedding at Congress Hall, and I must honestly say I was not impressed at all. I have been to weddings there in the past and thoroughly enjoyed them, but things must have gone down hill. The cocktail hour outside was nice, but the staff was stuffy and the appetizers were very few and far between. The meal itself was horrible and 4 out of 8 at my table alone did not eat their filet. The overall attention of the staff seemed very lacking also. When they were serving coffee, my FIL hasd to ask for a new cup twice because they were not bringing him creamer or sugar. Someone spilled a drink on the dance floor and it took them atleast 10 minutes to have someone come out and barely clean it up. The dj had to announce it twice for them and then ended up doing it mainly himself. I had a nice time overall, but expected a much higher standard there.
Today I had to give up the puppy beagle to my MIL and FIL and I am a crying mess. I know it has a lot to do with my hormones, but she was with us for a month and my basset and I grew really attached and I hated separating them. It would be easier if she wasn't moving all the way to North Carolina.
