Need a birth certificate!
Actually, hubby needs one, with the raised official seal on it for his new job. The one place I know of to get it is more than likely closed post-K. I need to know where to go, preferably in person and if possible on the West Bank, to get one. HELP!!!!

I can offer East Bank, not West Bank.
This is also for Jefferson Parish, I'm not sure that matters, but for some reason, I think it does.
There is one in Metairie off Causeway, under the overpass right past Metairie Road. It's in a building with a free medical clinic, no idea why. It was really fast and they gave it to me on the spot. You also get a birth card that has the seal and you can use it for job and passport purposes. ?

Incidentally, moments after I posted, hubby called back to tell me there was a center somewhere on Lapalco in Marrero. But I will file the Causeway locale for future reference. Y'all are the greatest!
