How was the weekend???
Mine was sooooo nice and relaxing! We didn't do a whole lot of anything - just some grocery shopping., Farmer's Market and we walked down to our town's annual street fair for a little while yesterday.
But, this morning? Yeah. Cannot say I'm happy to be back at work at. all. Boo!!!

Re: It's Monday...
Oh Jen, I am sooooo glad you're back! My weekend was n.o.t. relaxing. I had a bridal shower 45 mins away, then had to come back to work at 7:45-1am, which was completely dead. Then I was back at work at 11:30-8pm the next day and we were getting our butts kicked. Saturday was really nice so no one was coming to go grocery shopping, so they all stormed in on Sunday. Seriously, with the cartloads people were coming up with, I was surprised we had anything left on the shelves. Also, there were about 8 call-ins. Awesome.?
Today I have the day off, and Kevin worked last night, so he is sleeping. I have some grocery shopping to do and I think I'm going to hang out with my friend for a while. Figure out what's for dinner...?
Morning!
It must have been hard for you to come back to work.
This weekend was good...except the lovely sunburn I now have on the front of my body starting at my chest ending at my feet. It was cloudy when we went to the pool, then the sun came out and umm ya. Yesteday we didnt do anything. Dh worked from 7-8 on sat, so he was tired. We watched the movie New in Town, it was cute. Then I went grocery shopping and we had a quick pizza, Dh took our daughter swimming and I joined them later, after the sun was gone!
I didnt want to go into work today at all. School starts today for me, so I will be working like a mad women to get free time at work to do my homework.
Very busy weekend - but good. Saturday we did morning and evening chores at the farm and still made it to 2 graduation open houses and then were "fashionably" late to a wedding reception.
Sunday - 2 new baby calves at the farm and morning and evening chores. Also - We celebrated 4 months! (Happy 4 months to all the Feb 7th brides!) We didn't really remember it was the 7th until mid-day. So, we had dairy queen about 9pm last night as a small celebration. I don't think we really did anything to celebrate last month on the 7th, so we figure we deserved this one. Yum - I LOVE DQ!
Jen, I can imagine it must be super hard going back to work after being in paradise for so long!!!! I love your pics on your blog!! Every place you went looked soo amazing!!! I love the pics from Hydra, it's breathtaking!!! What was Dh's house like there?? Were the "facilities" anything different than what we have here? lol just curious
Thom, were the calves jerseys or holsteins??
Our weekend was ehhh, not to impressive. I worked friday night, saturday 930-6 and then yesterday 1-7. Last night we grilled at IL's house and drank some beer. Other then that, we tried to catch up on sleep. DH had helped my dad saturday remove a tree stump from their yard and that wore him out. I absolutley CANNOT wait til this weekend!! We are FINALLY going out of town and we are going to have a blast!!! Definitely looking forward to beer in the cute beer gardens and some sweet wine from the local wineries in Fredericksburg
Meg - The facilities were comparable to the States everywhere we went, just cleaner! The only real difference was that there is less water pressure in Greece so, you have to watch how much TP you use or the system can get clogged easily. Luckily, we never had any issues.
So happy you and your DH are finally gettting away together for a couple of days!!!

Happy Monday everyone.
We didn't do much this weekend. DH and I were both tired and caught up on sleep. We went to dinner on Friday night with a huge group of my co-workers (about 25 of us total) then went downtown.
Saturday- hung out at home, grocery shopping, put together a console table for the entryway
Sunday- gym, napped, tv, watched the Magic vs. Lakers game
Lisa, I cant' wait to see the pic of the jersey baby!! He sounds precious!!!
Jen, I'm glad their facilities were about the same if not better!!! Luckily it wasn't like a hole in the ground or anythign like i've heard of other places before =( Yeah we can't wait to get away either, we are planning out everything tonight
Happy Monday ladies!
Friday night I went to this amazing seafood place with my family and had this great dinner. Saturday was graduation (yay!) and it was nice but kinda long. Like they all are, I guess. We went out to dinner with some friends that night and it was pretty fun. I would have liked to stay out and celebrate more, but I was exhausted. Sunday we went to the Pike Place market for a bit of breakfast, then met up with some friends at the Redhook brewery for their $1 tour. Last night we went to dinner at Herbfarm, this incredible restaurant on the east side of Seattle.
And now back to reality and packing to move
My first day of work is June 28th and I have a TON to get done between now and then!
Hi all
our weekend was pretty uneventful. Saturday I got my hair cut and eyebrows and lip waxed (fun LOL) and grabbed some things at Wal Mart, we had Subway for lunch and then headed to the pool in the evening.?
Sunday we didn't leave the house. we vegged and watched movies all day while DH did some work on the computer for his conference. I also finished a book I was reading called "knitting under the influence" it was funny.
Then I got my portfolio and stuff ready for my interview today. (making a separate post about it)
Pretty low key weekend.?
Meg - yep, DH is still in town and helping me pack (poor guy) and he was able to attend the graduation ceremony as well
I have a place in La Jolla (a touch north of San Diego - the ritzy area of town) that I am moving into next week! I am excited but hate, hate, hate moving...it sucks so much!
a little late for the post but oh well
The weekend was good! We had friends over on friday for a cookout, Saturday was spent cleaning, running a few errands, and then ending the night with homemade sundaes and Oceans12
Sunday I slept in until 11...which is amazing because I almost never sleep past 830! So we washed the cars, went to our favorite burger place 5 Guys for lunch, and then watched Oceans 13 lol Then I had to help DH pack because he is up in Toronot and I get to meet with him in Calgary on Wednesday!!!! *happy dance* for a short work week!
I know it's tuesday but yesterday I was so busy. I had to find my husky that my DH bought me on years day. No luck in finding her. I did find out last night that the people that lived across the street from me moved and took her. Then I had to go to the car dealership and deal with them. Finally I came to my aunts house just to get away for the week.
Saturday I went home and did laundry and washed dishes all afternoon. I watched Harper's Island that night. Sunday I stayed home and cleaned the kitchen and cleaned the guest bathrom. Then I watched some movie that I had never seen that DH bought. That night about ten my neighbor called me to let me know someone was out by our pond that should not have been there. I was so scared because DH is off at work. Thankfully the cops arrested him later that night. Someone that lives down the road from me shot him because he tried to break into his house.
