Re: How was your weekend?
Fri night; met with DH at the theatre he and his assoc. were checking out. *Thought* we'd be hanging out with them afterwards, but didn't. Instead went to dinner at Rachel's on 44th and 9th. It was nice!
Saturday; late start to the morning. Cleaned the apartment, which was wicked overdue since we were gone the week of Memorial Day! Took a 2hr nap. Showered, got ready and DH and i went to our fave sushi place for dinner (i've been craving sushi for weeks!) then went and saw Angels & Demons. It was good, but i'm definitely finishing the book cuz there were too many questions left unanswered and whole sections cut out! DH lost his phone at the movies so he was in a grumpy mood on the way home.
Sun; watched my fave Sunday morning programs - Open House NYC and CBS Sunday News this Morning. Took another nap. Woke up and DH left for his 4hr rehearsal. I showered and headed into the city for an afternoon by myself. Went to Lion Brand Yarn Studio to get a few more skeins to finish off 2 baby blankets i'm crocheting. And bought yarn for another blanket...oy... Then i got an iced coffee beverage, got a pedicure, wandered from 8th & Broadway down to Little Italy where DH was finishing up rehearsal and we had dinner in the area. Headed home and i crocheted while watching a bit of the Tony's. I *LOVE* NPH!!
It's weird cuz i woke up a little grumpy on Sunday morning, already bemoaning the fact that the weekend was almost over.
I need to figure out how to not let that happen and enjoy my last day of freedom before Monday starts...

Finally! A Married Bio!!
Friday - DH and I went to Home Depot and bought stuff to tile the back room in the basement and then went to Costco and bought cases of water and Paper towels
Saturday - DH tiled the back room in the basement while I went back to Home Depot to buy a Wet Saw to cut the tiles,then grocery shopping and then Mall to get eyebrows threaded and bought some clothes and Father's Day gifts.
Sunday - Shopping, 1st Birthday Party in Queens. Hottie DJ Teddy (my everything DJ) was there I love him. LOL. Yes, this was a 1st Birthday Party with a DJ. When I got home we went back to Home Depot and bought some more Father's Day gifts and sand for my Free Standing Punching Bag.
I was very happy to go to sleep last night

I finally got my wedding album done - went out to Duet on Saturday to make some changes to the layout, I *think* it should be all good now. It was cool going to Duet, I haven't been there since before the wedding (my mom's been going back and forth for me). My pictures are in a bunch of their sample albums, which is pretty cool!
We had picture day at one of my dance studios. My bellydance students and I took a group picture, and I took a pic with my ballet class, because I am actually doing a ballet dance in the recital! I haven't done that since I was 18!
Yesterday, I kicked my own butt by teaching my bellydance class, then taking yoga, then coming home and doing the shred. Then DH and I did a much needed grocery shop. Then I hung out at my parent's pool for a bit and started reading Twilight. Yes, I am pathetically behind the times, but I've decided that series will be my summer reading. Then I saw my friend perform at Hush. It was a fun weekend!

friday night we curled up on the couch and did some research for our upcoming vaca.
saturday we slept in, did some tidying then went to the atlantic ave art walk in brooklyn, had a dinner date in the city and then headed back to queens.
yesterday we had my gay boyf and his boyfriend over. very low key and a perfect way to end the weekend.
i am so not ready to be back at work. *pout*?
Weekend was goooooood!!!
Fri: picked up car rental for our weekend trip. We decided at the last minute that despite the rain, we were going to go up to the state park and camp that night. We got there really late, hiked (short distance) to the camp spot in the dark - just a tad scary.
Sat: woke up super early - packed our gear and spent the whole day hiking through Harriman State park. We saw some really cool creatures, streams, views. Our dog was with us - she did really well, but by the afternoon was immediately sleeping every time we stopped for a breather. The hike was a super workout because not only were we walking, hiking up hill, downhill and repeat - we were each carrying about 30lbs on our back. PHEW!! haha. We ended up doing a big loop and arrived back at the car around 5. we were both exhausted, sore, stinky and just ready for bed. so we decided instead of camping that night, we'd go home and sleep in our own bed. when we got back home we celebrated our trip with amazing mexican food and margaritas!!
Sun: Relax.....DH & and I are soooo sore. we still had the rental car so we treated ourselves to an Ikea trip! anyone else get super excited when they go to ikea? haha. we also bought more gardening pots and plants from home depot and revamped our indoor & fireescape 'garden. movies and napping were the evening activities.
I hated to see a such a good weekend (And weather) end! On Friday, I enjoyed my me-time of Chinese food and a movie. Then DH got home from work and we enjoyed a nice evening, unwinding from the week.
Saturday, usual domestic duties of cleaning, laundry, and then later went out to get a french pedicure with a girlfriend--a real treat to be pampered!
Sunday: went to church, cooked dinner, went over to MIL's for dinner, and just enjoyed the weather outside.?
The weekends are just never long enough...!?
