Since you brought up The Outsiders....
I love that movie! I don't know why. Maybe it's the very young and cute Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze and Tom Cruise.
DH does not understand why I like that movie.
Stay gold Pony Boy.
Re: Since you brought up The Outsiders....
are you ready for this?
I have not *GASP* read the book or *GASP* seen the movie.
*hides*
Same
*runs and hides with Nat*
It was one of the first DVDs I bought. I love that movie.
We'll do it for Johnny man, we'll do it for Johnny!
Sigh.....
Nat, I needed more prep time for that announcement.
I was infact. Not ready.
We will have a Nestie screening party. It's not like it's best acting in the world and some parts are super cheese, but something about the movie gets me everytime. Maybe it really is just the hotties when they were young.
It's okay to come out of hiding now, but you better get your butts to Blockbuster.
I am calling OCT right now to have your licence revoked...
LMAO no seriously - I never had to read it for school! Our grade 9 books were Animal Farm and Romeo and Juliet!
My other friend's class got The Outsiders
And b/c I teach K-6, I've never had it in my lit program.
I am DEFINITELY hitting up blockbuster. I feel like I am missing something very important.
And Sarah - sorry for the no preparation there... I should've passed you the couch to faint on first.
K I had to read Animal Farm and the Outsiders and Romeo and Juliet. Man I went to a crap school..lol.
wait wait... no there was a third book too... I remember now!
It was 1984.
So we went to equally crappy schools. Well, that's a lie. I actually really loved my school. I hated BEING in high school, but I liked my school. It was an Arts school, like Fame. That was the fun part.
Alas, I did not read it either. We had z for zachariah (which because of switching schools 2 months into the school year I didn't have to read! woo hoo!) Lord of the flies, and another one. I believe 1984 was grade 10 english. I also haven't read to kill a mocking bird. It's on my list of things to read.
Happy Easter
