Speaking of monitors

Yippee, we're getting a new one!

We both despise the monitor we bought before J was born. Hate it. Loved the one we had in Germany, but alas bringing it back wasn't totally feasible (and we'll like having one there for when we visit anyway). We've decided we're going to leave this much-loathed one here at my parents' place and buy a new one in the next few days. Now that we'll be using one for a while yet, it is totally justifiable. (We're still using one for J's nap times, and when he first goes to bed in the evening. Once we're upstairs, too, we just open his door and then we can hear him from our room.)

Can't wait to be rid of it!

Re: Speaking of monitors

  • That is great, I know you have not enjoyed your current one since you got it, happy monitor shopping!
Proud Mama to two sweet kiddos.
  • Now the big question is, what kind of monitor are you getting ? I think we'll need a new one too, ours is on it's last leg.
  • I think an Angel Care. For all the possibility of a false alarm, it still seems like a great monitor, and of course we can use it without the sensor too. There's a new model that, according to the BRU website, is becoming available on Friday.
