I'm AWing everywhere...I GOT MY JOB BACK!
YAY!!!
It's only a semester contract, so it's not ideal, but, like the HR lady said, once they have the kids here, what are they going to do with them halfway through the year? Hopefully CA will have its budget situation a little more figured out by then and it will be more good news.
I am soooo relieved.

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! I was secretly hoping this would happen - congrats!!
[although I was starting to get jealousE of you laying on the beach all summer]
This is such great news!
I mean, I don't get it though. Did they pink slip you without having a plan about what to do with all the students? Or they had a plan and weren't able to put it in place so they realized they needed more teachers?
Either way, I'm so grateful for you!!!
FANTASTIC NEWS!!!
Does this, by chance, solve the problem of having to move out of your classroom?
Great news!

I hope it turns into permanent position!
They cut as many teachers as they contractually can, then come up with a plan based on the budget they have allowed.
Crappy plan, but they only get so much $$ from the state, and if they can't pay us, they can't pay us.
