Isn't it Say Anything Wednesday today?
I know y'all are all lurking - come out and play
Re: Isn't it Say Anything Wednesday today?
Why yes, it is!
* Once we move into our next house (hopefully by year end), I am NEVER MOVING AGAIN!!!
* Moving has been a lot harder emotionally than I ever expected it to be. I have cried more than I ever thought I would! Tonight we're going over there after work to get the last few things and I'm dreading it. I'm SO sad!!! Excited to move on to the next thing, but SOOOOO sad to leave my house that we've put so much work into!
* I think one of my parents' cats is sick and I'm not sure what to do. She's acting really slow and lethargic and not her usual playful self. I don't know if it's stress because we've moved in or if she's really sick. I can't afford a vet bill right now!! (parents are out of town, so I have to deal with it)
- life in the Reaux household is back to normal again the dvr computer is working correctly and the H dosen't have to 'deal' with live TV. I swear when I suggested that we could handle watching live TV for awhile you would have I thought that I asked him to snort fireants or something
- I am thrilled that it is that time of year again....no more school zones!
- I need to go shopping
- I hope the kitty cat gets better RJ! hopefully it is just nerves from the move
I'm on day three of South Beach and so far I really like it. The hardest thing for me is no alcohol.
I've run 3 miles for the each of the past 2 days as well, I'm sure it didn't look pretty for people watching me, but I struggled through it. 30 day shred starts tomorrow morning (i think).
I'm enjoying the slightly lighter traffic for summer, only took me an hour today instead of an hour and 20 min!
I finally found the perfect pair of nude patent peep toe pumps in my size no less that have been eluding me for the past 2 months. Got them in the mail yesterday and can't wait to wear them.
I'm actually glad all my shows I watch are over for the summer so I have more time to do things at night.
My husband told me birthing classes where silly and it hurt my feelings. He is European and says he has never heard of such a thing. I am debating kicking him out of the room and getting someone else to help me through birth. I want a supportive coach. Perhaps he just needs a swift kick to the ass.
I am sad today in general. It's my late Grandmother's birthday. Usually I would call her and sing her happy birthday. (Family tradition) It's really hard not having her around to talk to.
I really like the progress we made on the nursery. I only have a few touch up spots and then we can put the border up. Being this is our first paint job I am happy it turned out so well.
Dangit stupid cop who gave me a ticket! You had to give me a "failure to display registration" ticket even though you looked it up and acknowledged that it's current, I just forgot to put the sticker on?!
I know..if you hadn't had to spend your time stopping me to look up my registration you could have been doing something else for the city, so I get it. But it doesn't mean I have to like it
When did I get old enough that the creepy old dude at the gas station telling me I look beautiful made my morning instead of creeping me out??
I know most people aren't cat people, but I seriously can't believe we ever DIDN'T have our babies. They just get more lovey as they get older and I don't know what I did before I had our little cuddlebums. We seriously hit the jackpot for the sweetest, cutest kitties ever!
Me too!
* I'm trying to be good about working out. So far I'm doing good, but it's always the 2nd or 3rd week that I start to fall off the wagon. My leg muscles are really sore right now and I dread having to bend down for anything, but at least I know I'm doing something!
* I have to AW out my DH. He surprised me with a picnic dinner for our anniversary yesterday. He included our favorite things we ate in Provence. It was so thoughtful and well executed.
* Top Chef Masters tonight!
- I love my helpful and handy husband. He has helped me out so much this week since the next week is going to be insane wrapping up school. 1. he did laundry on monday..which he normally doesn't do because he "doesn't know where things go"
and then gets frustrated hanging up my clothes. 2. He cleaned the kitchen and cooked yesterday. 3. Today he is getting a whole host of things done around the house, including changing the air filter so my allergies are better
4. oh yeah and he is about to finish our yard project.
- I am really starting to see results from my weight loss and that is so motivating.
This was on 1000 Ways To Die Sunday night.
I hate the bloody fukcing nest when it duplicates my posts like this. Rawrrrrrrrrr.... no more for me today. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.
- Stress is causing me to break out worse than ever before. Seriously looks like I am going through puberty all over again... argh argh argh argh.
- I cannot WAIT to move offices! I am going from downtown to frisco - and I will literally be working in the same building as my fiance! We can carpool to work! holy cow!
- I thought I ate a filling breakfast this morning, but I am already hungry for lunch. boo!
- I am ready for my wedding dress to get here. Seriously people it has been 5 months. come ON!
Congrats Jac! Thats awesome! What are you doing? I'm trying to eat better and workout some more but haven't made any major efforts...
I think you are adorable!
I haven't been on here in forever!
I applied for three open positions at my company yesterday and am hoping they give me a shot even though I'm based here and they want people to be in the home office in Dayton, OH. Yeah - I'm not moving there.
DH and I have decided to start our own little production company, doing corporate videos. I'm nervous and excited. We are still in early early planning phases, but hey - if your company ever needs a video produced of any kind let me know!
And since I'm on the subject of careers, the hair/makeup freelancing is going full force after a slow start this year due to the economy. Thank you so much to all the nesties who have hired me and referred me!
With all of that, I am one busy girl these days. Hence why I haven't been on here in forever.
On the weight loss front, I bought a GoWear Fit and it should arrive next week. I am very excited to be able to accuratley track my calories burned! I haven't weighed in over a month, and travelled for close to 3 weeks during that time (where I am SURE I did not loose any weight) but will weigh again on Friday and hope I can update my ticker with some additional loss
*I am tired. I took a 2 hr nap yesterday when I got home from work. Slept from 10:30pm-5:25am last night and took a 2 hr nap after yoga this morning and I just now feel more rested.
*Our loan for the house was approved this morning and everything is looking great!
*I have my first dr's appointment a week from tomorrow for an u/s and I am so excited!
Welcome to early pregnancy. One of the first symptoms I had. Though I got to sleep at 7-8 ish. Now I can make it till 9.
-We've moved, and still have so much unpacking/organizing to do.
-The new workout has me so sore, but I love it and hope it keeps kicking my a** so I can be better off for it!
-I love the fact my girl dog loves to fall asleep next to us while playing WoW. She's so cute.
This is my first visit here from the Knot. Guess I should try to pop over more often since I'm married now. anyhow, just wanted to say Hi...I'm cheryl...unemployed 3D artist, bored at home all the time. Sometimes I don't capitalize my letters, don't yell at me. Top Chef Masters is also going to be the highlight of my day.
My husband thought the same thing, but after one class he knew he would enjoy them. Just force him to go and he'll change his mind.
*I'm stuck in Singapore alone. I flew here space a to join hubby for a week while he was working. It was a great trip. They had off the weekend, so we got to go see/do lots and it was a fun "babymoon" before lil' bit gets here. But they had to fly back yesterday and my plane got pushed back a day. So I was stuck here all alone. I was "single in singapore". It was alright- just laid by the pool and spent some good time reading and relaxing before the baby (as I know it will be at a premium then), but I'm ready to go home. Fingers crossed I get out today.
*My parents booked their tickets to come visit us in Japan when the baby gets here. Due date is 8/15. They arrive 8/19. I'm hoping she is here by then- the dr's here let you go 2 wks past your due date before they induce, so that would mean the 29th. Hopefully that won't happen. I don't want to spend a week of their trip (they are here for 3) being miserable and waiting for her to get here.
*There are no birthing classes here AT ALL Mrs. S. Seriously, I guess they just expect us military wives to know what to do or something. I wish they offered something, but they got nothin here, and I hate it. Guess I'll just the epidural and survive
I took at Newborn Care Class at Harris HEB last night and the instructor told me they offer their Labor and Delivery Class online now. You have 10 weeks to complete the class. MIght be an option if you can't find a class in Japan and want to take one
I'm not sure if this link will work, but it's worth a try. It's description of o the class and registration information. http://www.texashealth.org/body_secure.cfm?xyzpdqabc=0&id=2357®istration=true&action=detail&ref=8487
Ohh! Fun! Please let me know if you guys ever decide to hire extra help.
And MrsSandro, they may be silly to him, but he doesn't have to birth the child! You do what you wanna do, girl!
My SA - I don't want to go back to work next week. I've been fortunate to stay home with my baby girl this long, but it just doesn't feel like it's been long enough.
* I am looking forward to a girls weekend getaway - even though we're just going to Ft. Worth.
As much as I love DD and DH, some girl time is badly needed.
* I seriously thought we were going to die as we drove home from PetsMart, so I made DH pull over and we cruised the aisles of Wal-Mart until it seemed as if the storm has moved on. It was the longest 25 minutes of my life. I walked out with 11 dollars worth of crap ...
* Part of me regrets not working summer school. The extra cash would have been great. But I will just enjoy the rest of the summer on a budget.
*My favorite Assistant Principal is having to move schools because of district budget cuts. I'm sad. He was my favorite and I can only hope next year is as great as last year - even without him.
