We're going to repaint our bedroom (which you probably knew). But I can't decide: go a pale green or something more neutral.
Here is our duvet:
(The edging is a light lime green kind of color.) We have some green pillows that also go on the bed, and we just got green lamps. The mirror I just got is black framed.
Obviously, I think a light/pale green would look very modern and clean in the bedroom. But I'm a) not sure I'll love it forever and then we have to repaint, and b) not sure our landlord will love it since it's not super neutral (who am I kidding - he won't care. LOL)
Thoughts?
The green I'm thinking would be something like the Green Shimmer or Spirit Whisper below:
Re: Painting help
Green shimmer looks good. I like it.
Whatever you do, never get a piant called "Aloe Essence." You'll thank me for telling you that. Trust me.
I'm afraid the Green Shimmer will just look like a weird white. LOL Which is why I was thinking maybe the Spirit Whisper - it might be JUST dark enough to recognize a light green but not too light to mistake it for weird lighting. LOL I like the darker shades, but definitely know I'd be changing them in 6 months to a year. LOL Also anything darker might get too matchy-matchy or risk clashing a lot!
The Mint Hint and Seafoam Spray are too pastel for me - and they definitely wouldn't go with the green on the duvet or lamps. Which reminds me... I should take a pic of the lamps because they're not online...
Kristi, I think I'm going to do that - those are Behr colors, so if we go with that, they sell sample pots.
I like the Green Shimmer and since you have green throughout the room I think it will help bring out the green in the walls.
But if you can get a small can of it like Kristi said to just try on the wall that would be best.
