The golf widow

DH is gone out of town living some golfing wet dream with a few friends of golfing some completely private by invitation only golf course established by some PGA dude in the middle of nowhere.  Woooppee Dooooo.

In my next life I am going to get to be the new dad.

Re: The golf widow

  • ooo I would be p!ssed.  You are way nicer than I would be;)
  • I wouldn't mind as much had he taken the dogs *LoL*  It is like having 4 kids!
  • LOL!  Next time just strap them into this luggage, right;)
  • Pretty much.  They usually go to work with him and just run around all day so I don't have to worry about walking them, etc...  Now by the time I get them strapped to the stroller and the kids in the stroller, I am already tired.  If only Sloane would stay on the sidewalk, I would make her hold the leashes *LoL*
  • haha!  Make them start early with pet responsibility.  If the puppers didn't need the exercise, you could get some sort of triple stroller set up and put the kids in two and the pups on the other;)
  • I would be so peeved, you are so tolerant Briana!!!!

on another note, it's seriously like living in another world Nesting from Calgary... I can totally see how people in Ontario vs. people out here just nest at different times, only off by 2 hours.

I know!!! argh dammit. 1 month too late for skiing (not even!!!) and one month too early for stampede (not even!!!) argh. I came for my brother's convocation. I am leaving tomorrow already *sniff sniff* not enough time, met up with one friend for breaky this morning but it's too late for another friend to meet up and she works at 7am tomorrow! (My parents live here and I went to high school here). I love Calgary though, DH and I both want to move back but we have jobs in totally the wrong industries so we need some more work experience!!!!!!

  • Ahh that is too bad you can't move back now if you love it.  My sister lived on and off in Calgary for the summers for years (she is a professional polo player and the polo club there is by far the biggest in Canada).  Now she lives and plays exclusively in the US.

  • DH isn't back with me this time but he has been here almost every time I've been back since we started dating (he's from London Ontario so his first experience here was with me). Anyways being back makes me want to move back. I wrote down a bunch of potential companies to look into!

anyways i should go to bed, even though it's not "late" here I am working in Ontario on Friday!!! nighty night, good actually chatting with you :)
