My fiancee's partner got married in Floriday on May 30th and are coming home from their honeymoon tomorrow. We knew they were planning on doing something when they got back but didn't know when.
Well get just get an invitation yesterday for their wedding in 9 days and they wanted the RSVP yesterday too!!! We thought it was a B list but everyone just got theirs, the earliest it was recieved was Saturday......who sends out wedding invites 10 days before the wedding with a 24 hr RSVP...it's not even a backyard BBQ it's at a pretty big hall where you pay per head.
Some people are so weird!!!
Re: How weird!
There are a few odd things here - first - they already got married and had a honeymoon, but now they're coming to NJ for another wedding? - Is it just a reception?
And yes - a 24-hr RSVP is insane. I don't understand that logic.
Yeah it's just a reception....they had a pretty big thing in Florida with about 60 people and are coming home and doing another reception and when I say they invited everyone they did.....they invited some of my fiancees clients who he's trained for years...I guess he thought b/c he sees them all the time he should invite them....again weird!! One of them told me they spend 2 hrs trying to figure out who it was for...haha!!!
It's one thing if it was a backyard BBQ but it actually a formal event, not that 10 days notice is good for any event but we are talking something nicer. I feel bad that we can't go but we have something that day already and what did they expect, it's fathers day weekend and the summer time...you can't give 10 days notice
