Uptown Restaurant Recs?
We're visiting next weekend and looking for restaurtant recs around the Stoneleigh (which is where we're staying)
I want yummy food, but I'm mostly looking for unique atmosphere. Thanks!

I like Manny's for tex-mex. They have a nice patio and good 'ritas.
I second Manny's...Truluck's is good for upscale seafood, or for a more laid back place, I recommend S&D Oyster Company.
Also, I love your siggy pic! So cute!
There is a ton in Uptown....but one of my faves down there is Sambuca.
Other dining places I've been to that I like - Avanti, Dragonfly, Grotto, Arcodoro & Pomodoro, Primo's, TABC.....
A good place is Palaminos for a nicer but not too fancy spot... its in The Cresent, or Taco Diner in West Village for a more laid back tex-mex place, it has lots of shopping and other things to do right there too. If you want just a simple burger place, go to Jake's.
