To me becoming an auntie for the first time.
SIL is due on the 25th....at her appointment last week she was already 1cm (which I know doesn't mean a lot)....today the doctor told her he thinks she will probably deliver before her next appointment.
If it is a girl, I am hoping that she and Lauren will be close when the are older......and if it is a boy, then he and Lauren will get attention for different things (boy things vs girl things)
I'm trying to decide if I like "aunt Pam" or "auntie Pam"....hmmmm...
Re: The countdown is on!
Oooooooooooh exciting!
DD has a little cousin that was born May 1. They're going to be like sisters, I hope.
I wanted Auntie Natalie, but I got Auntie NaNa from the first niece, and then it stuck for the other two.
I'm Auntie NaNa fo life!
Very exciting!! These are the one's who live really close to you correct?
I am up to 3 nieces and 3 nephews now. I get 'Jen' from the 2 oldest (17 and 19) and then Auntie Jen or Aunt Jenny from the youngest one's.
Yeah - they live a few blocks from us...but so do DH's parents and my other BIL (part time - he comes home on weekends from the city that he works in)....other BIL isn't married yet...so it will be a while before he starts having kids.
That's so exciting! Congrats! I like Auntie Pam best.
For the longest time I got "Adi" b/c my nephew couldn't pronounce it right. I loved it! Now I'm just Auntie.
