NYC Cupcake Bakeries
Hi Ladies,
I know there are a bunch of bakeries that sell cupcakes in NYC. I know of:
Magnolia
Crumbs
Billy's
sugar Sweet sunshine
Buttercup
Butter Lane
Cupcake Cafe
Burgers and Cupcakes
Are there others?
Are there other bakeries that do a brisk cupcake business but also sell other things?
I own a cupcake bakery in Denver and I'm wondering how the cupcake scene in Denver compares to NYC.

Finally! A Married Bio!!
I love the cupcakes from Big Booty Bread Co. but they're not really a cupcake place.
There's also a cupcake truck that I've seen around, but it's still new and the cupcakes are just ok.
And I know it's not what you asked, but I really think Magnolia's is waaaay overrated.
you hit most of the big ones. sweet revenge is newer but fantastic. the owner is lovely and they offer beer/cupcake and wine/cupcake pairings which i think is a little different and very cool.?
crumbs and sugar sweet sunshine are my other go-to faves (and i've tried almost all of the above)
to me, magnolia & buttercup are totally overrated. the cupcakes are dry, the frosting can be vile, and they certainly are not worth waiting in line for.?
