Have totally screwed myself...
Yes I have and I didn't even see it coming. ? So here is the deal. ?Scarlett used to take a pacifier nut only to go to sleep. ?She did, ?I remember it clearly, ?than one day we didn't have any and she was freaking out so I let her suck on my little finger. ?She fell asleep right away. ?The next night she kept spitting out the paci, so I put my finger in her mouth and she went to sleep right away. ?Now I am the ONLY one who can put her to bed because she won't go to sleep unless she can suck and she won't suck on anyones little finger but mine...
Last night DH put her to bed. ?Two and a half hours of crying later he got me, ?I put her down, she sucked on my finger for two minutes and was out.. great. ?

j/k it can be fixed, but it will take some time.
Have you read the Lull-a-Baby sleep plan? I wasn't ready to use CIO with D, and she used to have to nurse to sleep, and I cut that using this program.
She now puts herself to sleep. I highly recommend the book!
